A meadow in a bottle
Maison Arden’s autumn scent is named after a hillside of silver grass the perfumer remembers from childhood. The launch needed a film and a box that felt like the place before anyone opened them.
Between the clouds
We found the meadow above a lake in late October and filmed it over two days, waiting out the clouds for every shot. The sun reached the grass in short spells, five or six seconds at a time, and the edit keeps that rhythm.
The colours of the shrubs
The box takes its red from the shrubs at the water’s edge and its white from the grass, printed on uncoated card. The Marais shop sold the first batch in the opening weekend.
